Each
month, a hot little magazine comes out of San Jose, California,
called Vintage
Oval Racing, and is devoted to just that. American racing
cars from the Golden Age of the 50's and 60's has always been
a subject near the very top of my passion list, and being able
to contribute as a writer and enthusiast is satisfying, to say
the least! Also, check out VOR's road-racing counterpart, Victory
Lane Magazine.
Read
about the racing antics of James Cagney, Abbott &
Costello, Mickey Rooney and others in Lou's death-defying
compilation, "When Hollywood Went Racing!", all
about Hollywood's love affair with speed. Click

The
May '02 issue of Vintage Oval Racing featured Lou's spellbinding
but true tale... "From Race Car to Movie Star,"
all about the race car that Clark Gable drove to victory
in "To Please A Lady" (shown here with Barbara Stanwyck
on the 1950 cover of Speed Age). Click
